APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Application: Applicants must submit a COMPLETE Application for the upcoming Fall 2026 semester. Applications can be retrieved below under the "Documents" tab or come to our office and pick up a paper application.
- Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB): A new applicant is required to submit an Official CIB. Continuing applicants are not required to submit another CIB.
- Official Transcript: A new Applicant is required to submit a Sealed and Unopened Official High School, GED or College Transcripts. Continuing Applicants are required to submit Official Transcript with Fall 2025 grades through mail or e-transcripts with the University or College attending.
- Financial Needs Analysis (FNA): Applicant is required to submit a complete and signed FNA by the Institution Financial Aid Officer. All applicants are required to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online.
- Letter or Verification of Enrollment: Applicant is required to submit a Letter or Verification of Enrollment from the Institution you are attending. The institution must be accredited by one of the six regional accrediting association recognized by the RNSB SETS Office.
- Educational Plan: The top half of the form is to be completed by the applicant and the bottom half of the form is to be completed by the Institution Advisor with signatures.
- Class Schedule: Applicant must be registered for 12 or more credits per semester and submit a copy of the class schedule with the application.
- Proof of Residency: Applicant is to provide Proof of Residency which can be 911 Rural Address, Utility Bill or ID/Driver's license.
Applicants are encouraged to apply with either the RNSB Scholarship Program OR the Navajo Nation Scholarship & Financial Assistance. You are required to apply with only one Program per semester

The Ramah Navajo School Board, Inc. (RNSB) Scholarship Office protects student data using secure, controlled environments in compliance with the Ramah Navajo School Board Privacy Act and the FERPA Policy Act. Personally identifiable information (name, address, academic and financial data) is gathered through the RNSB Scholarship Online Application and Financial Needs Analysis (FNA) forms. The data is used solely to administer financial scholarship aid, and the Ramah Navajo School Board acts to protect against unauthorized access.
